Uranium City is located in the North/ West corner of Saskatchewan. 720km NW of Prince Albert, Sk. 35km South of the North West Territorries.
Due to the closure of the Mines in the surrounding area in the early 80's in Uranium City, the town has been drastically reduced in population and services. Uranium City was later designated as a northern settlement and now (January 2010) has a remaining population of 86.
